My Big Magic Fish

Young Toby was almost a teenager now and a keen fisherman. His granddad taught him to fish when he was just four years old. Both of them sat by the pond on the staging made of wooden slats that granddad had built. It was a holiday he loved, all he had was Granddad's special rods, a small stool and a box of flies - handmade and very colourful. Nan always gave him a large bottle of cold water to share with Sammy, the Labrador. Nan lived very close to the smelly pond, and the council was coming to empty the pond. The news was not what Toby wanted to hear. Toby's future would change forever, his life would never be the same again; Rosa, the ghost, would see to that.
